Oceanfront view from the balcony was stunning and made our stay enjoyable. Room cleanliness was lacking, and the kitchen utensils were missing. Easy beach access was a plus. Not a great experience overall.

Friendly staff made the stay more pleasant, always eager to help with any issues, big or small. Easy beach access and nice pools with great views were definite highlights. the rooms felt outdated and had some quirks, like a broken door handle and noisy air conditioning. While some areas were clean, the presence of roaches in the first room was disconcerting. A strong aroma of smoke lingered in the second room, and basic amenities like room service were lacking. Despite some nice moments, the experience fell short of expectations considering the price.

Chillin' on the balcony, checkin' out the ocean waves was epic! Plus, we hit up Alligator Adventure and it was so dope – those gators were wild!
Wish they had a livelier vibe at night, like a groovy club onsite for us party animals to dance the night away! .

The pools are a complete delight, with the lazy river being my favorite spot to float and unwind! The beachfront view from my balcony was simply breathtaking, perfect for morning coffee. Plus, the staff were friendly and made my stay even more enjoyable!

The room had a spacious layout, providing ample space for everyone. Comfortable beds were a highlight, but that was inconsistent; we had issues with one bed feeling lumpy. The view from the top floor balcony was stunning, perfect for morning coffee. A big fridge, microwave, and sink added convenience. the kitchenette lacked essential supplies. There were cleanliness issues—some dirt and mold were present, particularly on the balcony. The TV was small and had poor reception, detracting from our entertainment. Noise from neighboring rooms disturbed our peace, but maintenance was prompt when we needed assistance with the door lock.

I was really disappointed with the stay. The room was filthy, and I found hair and grime on the bed. Plus, it took forever to get extra towels and housekeeping was non-existent. a really frustrating experience.

The property is right on the beach, providing striking views and easy access to sandy shores, and with plenty of attractions just a short walk away, such as Radical Ropes Adventure Park only about 800 meters down the road and the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk approximately 2.7 km away, making it perfect for family fun and leisurely strolls; the hotel features nice pools and a vibrant bar scene that enhances the overall experience. the cleanliness of the rooms could use some improvement.

A stunning oceanfront view from the 15th floor. Clean room, friendly staff, and exceptional location near the beach. not all was perfect. Some amenities fell short of expectations—the kitchenette was poorly stocked and the bed uncomfortable. A lack of housekeeping left us frustrated, and noise from neighboring rooms disrupted our peace. The check-in process took longer than expected, an inconvenience after a long journey. Despite these issues, don't let negative reviews deter you. This place has potential, but management needs to address maintenance and customer service concerns to elevate the experience significantly. With some improvements, this could be a memorable stay.

Our family had a blast at Alligator Adventure, a cool theme park with all kinds of reptiles, and Brookgreen Gardens, a beautiful spot full of art and nature, just a short drive from the hotel. The beach location was perfect for our little ones to play.
My wife says that the kids' club activities could use more variety.

We stayed at the Sandcastle and had a mixed experience. The hotel had some good points, but there were definitely areas that could be improved. One thing we liked was the ironing facilities in the room. It was convenient to have the option to quickly freshen up our clothes if needed. The heating in the room worked well, keeping us warm and comfortable during our stay. the air conditioning in the beach area seemed a bit off. Even though it was set to a chilly 61 degrees, it didn't feel quite as cold as expected. I appreciated having tea and coffee facilities in the room for a morning pick-me-up. The sitting area was nice for relaxing, and the garden furniture outside was a pleasant spot to enjoy the view. On the downside, we found the lack of free toiletries a bit disappointing. It's always nice to have those provided in the room. The AM/FM alarm clock was handy for waking up on time, and the flat-screen TV provided some entertainment. I did notice that the parquet floor in the room was showing some wear and tear, which could use some attention. Housekeeping was a bit hit or miss during our stay. While the public areas like the hallways were kept clean, the room itself wasn't cleaned to our satisfaction. We had to wait quite a while for the room to be properly tidied up. The staff at the front desk were friendly, but there were some issues with key cards not working properly, leading to multiple trips back and forth. The Sandcastle had its pros and cons.

The room was comfortable and clean, with plenty of space for 5 people. The view was excellent, offering a beautiful oceanfront experience. We loved the amenities like the beach, pools, hot tub, fire pits, and the bar with a wide selection of drinks.
The cleanliness of the hotel was disappointing. The carpet seemed neglected, the elevators were outdated, and the appliances were dirty.

stayed at Sandcastle Oceanfront Resort South Beach and got an ocean front standard room with ocean front kitchenette - amazing experience. Comfy beds, though pillows were hard. Great location, pool, and hot tub. Convenient parking in garage. All rooms are ocean front with refrigerator and microwave. Loved the outside water showers to clean off sand.

The pools, hot tubs, and lazy river were a hit with our family, offering plenty of water fun options. Being right on the beach was fantastic, allowing easy access to the sand and surf. We also loved the balcony view from our room, providing a relaxing spot to unwind and enjoy the scenery.
The cleanliness of the rooms was a major letdown, with noticeable issues like sand, dust, and rust on appliances. The service was inconsistent, with multiple room changes needed due to various problems.

We enjoyed a private suite with a stunning beach view, comfortable beds, and a functional kitchen. The pool was a hit with my sons. The cleanliness of the room, considering the age of the building, was impressive, and I appreciated seeing the pool water being actively tested. a wonderful stay.

I loved lounging at the white sand beach and sipping cocktails at the cabana bar while taking in the ocean view. The room's balcony overlooking the pool was heavenly.
Finding someone else's hair strands was a delightful surprise in my room.

I chose this resort for its proximity to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary wireless Internet access. The poolside bar was a great place to unwind at the end of the day.
